Camping & Fishing can be a lot of fun, but they can also be dangerous!
Did you know that each year in Australia, there are an estimated 5 to 10 deaths and over 100 severe injuries caused by lightning? Most of these deaths occurred to people who had been enjoying the great outdoors & they weren't all golfers! Fishermen, beach goers, boaties & campers are all at risk.
Then there are also wild animal attacks to consider and Australia has its fair share of dangerous creatures such as venomous Snakes, Dingoes, Crocodiles, Kangaroos, Sharks & Spiders, not to mention the Box Jellyfish, Blue Ringed Octopus, Stone Fish & Puffer Fish.
But don't let this put you off, a little knowledge & preparation goes a long way!
